Closure Notice from the National Zoological Society of Wales - Welsh Mountain Zoo

Following Government advice, and in a bid to try to reduce the impacts of COVID-19 as much as we possibly can, we have made the incredibly hard decision to close our gates until further notice, from 4pm today, Sunday 22 March.

Please rest assured that our dedicated and hardworking team will provide the best care for our amazing animals, as they always do. During this time, we are, of course, constantly monitoring the situation and are following both UK Government and World Health Organisation guidelines. We will also continue to take every precaution to safeguard our valued staff.

Your ongoing support has, and will continue to be, so greatly received. We know that you may have questions on bookings, memberships, adoptions and more, so we have tried to provide as many answers as possible below.

Although our gates will be closed and we will miss seeing so many of our friends and supporters in the Zoo, we will be providing regular updates on our website and social media and encourage interaction through these channels until we can see you all again.

Take care of yourselves and be considerate of others. This is not goodbye, just simply see you soon.
