Thank you for supporting the Welsh Mountain Zoo as a member of the National Zoological Society of Wales. The terms and conditions for members are listed below:
- The membership card admits the named person to the Zoo for free. There is no limit to the number of visits for members during Zoo opening hours for the 12-month membership period (except Christmas Day).
- A valid membership card must be shown at the Zoo entrance on each visit, or the standard entry fee will be charged, which is non-refundable. Photocopies or photographs of membership cards will not be accepted for entry.
- A ‘family membership’ consists of two or more members of the same household living at the same address. Family cards are linked; therefore, only one card is needed at the Zoo entrance. Membership cards cannot be used by an un-named member of the family.
- Members are required to visit the Zoo shop to have their photograph taken on their first visit. Membership cards are only valid when they contain a photograph of the holder. Failure to submit a photograph may result in membership being revoked.
- Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult.
- If a child reaches the age of 3 years within 3 months of the joining or renewal date, then the child rate is applicable.
- The Welsh Mountain Zoo reserves the right to request proof of age to ensure the correct membership type is purchased.
- Lost membership cards can be replaced at a cost of £5 per card. When a replacement card is issued, the lost card will become void. To request a replacement card, please contact the Zoo office on 01492 532938 or email the membership secretary directly: membership@welshmountainzoo.org.
- Any membership card found to be used fraudulently will be confiscated.
- Membership cards are non-transferable and cannot be cancelled nor refunded during the 12-month membership period.
- The Welsh Mountain Zoo operates a zero-tolerance policy with physical or verbal threats towards its staff or physical damage to its facilities and property. Any members behaving inappropriately will be denied access to, or told to leave, the Zoo immediately.
- The Welsh Mountain Zoo reserves the right to close all or part of the Zoo without prior notice.
- Although members can gain entry to the Welsh Mountain Zoo with their valid membership card, there may be the requirement to pre-book your visit for timed entry which the Welsh Mountain Zoo can introduce at any time.
- Zoo membership entry does not include pre-bookable events, secondary attractions or out-of-hours special events which may be charged for.
- All standard entry conditions also apply to Zoo members. Please check www.welshmountainzoo.org for details.
- Zoo membership cards remain the property of the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
- The Welsh Mountain Zoo reserves the right to withdraw Zoo membership benefits, discounts and unlimited access temporarily or permanently without notice.
- Any Zoo members found to be misusing their benefits causing a detrimental effect to the Welsh Mountain Zoo will be penalised as necessary. This may result in a suspension of your Zoo membership.
- Terms and conditions are subject to change without notification and apply to all Zoo members. Up-to-date terms and conditions can be found at www.welshmountainzoo.org.
