“To say we were speechless was an understatement! This amazing award is an incredibly important accolade for us and is a testament to our fantastic staff, volunteers, visitors and supporters who have made the Zoo what it is today, 60 years on. Thank you!”
Indeed, the Zoo celebrates its 60th birthday this year – a landmark year that allows all involved, past and present, to reflect on how far the charity has come and its many achievements.
