At the Welsh Mountain Zoo, we’re passionate about more than just wildlife—we’re dedicated to our community, education, and inspiring future generations. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our exciting new partnership with the North Wales Crusaders rugby team! This collaboration brings together two of North Wales’ most beloved institutions, uniting the energy of sport with the vital work of conservation.
Why This Partnership Matters
As the National Zoo of Wales and a registered charity, the Welsh Mountain Zoo has long been committed to protecting wildlife, educating the public, and inspiring a love for the natural world. The North Wales Crusaders, a dynamic and passionate rugby team, share our values of teamwork, resilience, dedication and being proudly Welsh. Just as success in rugby is built on cooperation and perseverance, conservation efforts thrive when communities come together.
By working alongside the Crusaders, we’re strengthening our mission to engage with local people, encourage active lifestyles, and highlight the importance of caring for our planet. Rugby and wildlife may seem like an unlikely match, but both require strength, strategy, and a deep-rooted commitment to survival.
