Staff and animals from the Welsh Mountain Zoo – National Zoo of Wales, have shown their appreciation for our fantastic NHS and essential workers in a series of films and images.
Staff gathered at a safe distance to have clapped together whilst animal residents including California Sea Lions and Owls have got clappy and flappy to help celebrate our unsung heroes!
Jen Jesse, Director of Operations and Administration of the Welsh Mountain Zoo explained: “When we heard that ITV had partnered with the NHS Charities Together on their Million Claps appeal, we wanted to show our warmest of thoughts for the selflessness of heartfelt gratitude to and support for all of those working for the NHS and all of the essential workers across the country that are keeping the country nation going during these challenging times. We hope our unique messages of support will help to promote the appeal and bring a smile to the faces of all these workers whilst they continue to work so tirelessly.”
